4 Countries Discovery, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, and South Africa
Victoria Falls from both sides, a Chobe safari, and the long road down to Cape Town. One trip, four countries, every visa and flight arranged
About This Trip

Four countries in southern Africa, joined in one route that starts at a waterfall and ends at an ocean. You begin at Victoria Falls, where the Zambezi River drops in a sheet of water nearly 1.7 kilometres wide. From there, the trip crosses into Botswana for the elephants of Chobe National Park, then flies south to Johannesburg, and finishes along South Africa's coast, through the Garden Route, Cango Caves, and Cape Town.

Four countries, one route: Victoria Falls, a Chobe safari, and the road down to Cape Town.

Assemble at Cochin Airport and board your flight to Mumbai
Collect your luggage and check in for the Ethiopian Airlines flight to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, via Addis Ababa.
After check-in and emigration formalities, board the flight to Victoria Falls. On arrival, complete immigration, meet our local representative, and transfer to the hotel for lunch and check-in. In the evening, take a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River, Africa's fourth-longest river and the source of the falls. The cruise covers a calm 6-kilometre stretch above the falls, with the mist rising in the distance. Watch the banks for hippos, crocodiles, and elephants as the light goes gold.
Dinner and overnight at Victoria Falls.
After breakfast, a full visit to Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, from both sides of the border. The Zimbabwean side gives you the scale, wide views across Main Falls and Rainbow Falls, the highest drop. The Zambian side brings you close enough to feel the force of the water.
Dinner and overnight at Victoria Falls.
After breakfast, check out and drive to Kasane in northeastern Botswana, the gateway to Chobe National Park. Kasane sits where four countries meet: Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. After hotel check-in, head out for a game drive safari through the park, spotting animals in their natural habitat.
Dinner and overnight at Kasane.
An early boat safari on the Chobe River, then back to the hotel for breakfast and some time to relax. After lunch, an afternoon game drive in Chobe National Park. Established in 1968 as Botswana's first national park, Chobe is known for one of the densest elephant populations in Africa, along with lions, leopards, buffalo, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, and hundreds of bird species.
Dinner and overnight at Kasane.
After breakfast, check out and cross the Botswana-Zimbabwe border, then continue to Victoria Falls International Airport after lunch for the flight to Johannesburg. On arrival, meet and transfer to the hotel. South Africa is a nation of 11 official languages, three capital cities, and landscapes that run from mountains and savannas to two ocean coastlines.
Dinner and overnight in Johannesburg.
After breakfast, descend into a 100 year old mine shaft on the Gold Reef Mine Tour, a guided walk through old tunnels with a live gold pouring demonstration. Then the Apartheid Museum, which traces the rise and fall of apartheid through photographs, films, and artifacts. After lunch, visit Satyagraha House, where Mahatma Gandhi lived and worked between 1908 and 1909. Designed by Hermann Kallenbach, the house is now a museum and part of Johannesburg's heritage.
Dinner and overnight at Johannesburg.
An early transfer to the airport for the flight to George. On arrival, drive to Oudtshoorn, often called the ostrich capital of the world, for a visit to an ostrich farm. After lunch, the Cango Wildlife Ranch, a conservation and education facility with interactive animal encounters. Later, check in at the hotel.
Dinner and overnight at Mossel Bay.
After breakfast, check out and visit the Cango Caves in Oudtshoorn, vast chambers of stalagmites, stalactites, and dripstone formations shaped over millions of years, some with names like Glass Flower Fantasy. Then the drive to Cape Town, the legislative capital, set at the southwestern tip of the country. Check in on arrival.
Dinner and overnight at Cape Town.
After breakfast, a half day city tour with Table Mountain, named for its flat plateau top, plus the Iziko Museum, Castle of Good Hope, Bo Kaap, and Signal Hill. Later, the Robben Island Tour, the island prison where Nelson Mandela spent 18 of his 27 years behind bars. The Robben Island tour depends strictly on weather. In the evening, a wine tasting at Groot Constantia, South Africa's oldest wine farm, in the soft light of the Cape Dutch estate.
Dinner and overnight at Cape Town.
After breakfast, a full day along the peninsula. Seal Island, home to a large colony of Cape fur seals. The Cape of Good Hope, the rocky headland where the peninsula meets the Atlantic. The Flying Dutchman Funicular at Cape Point, the only commercial funicular of its kind in Africa, named after the ghost ship of local legend. And Boulders Beach.
Dinner and overnight at Cape Town.
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Cape Town International Airport for the flight home via Addis Ababa, connecting onward to Cochin. Arrive with four countries behind you.
Tour ends.
