Itinerary

Day by Day

The Cellular Jail and its light-and-sound show, Havelock's Radha Nagar, Ross and North Bay, and the Baratang caves.

Day01
An Andaman island with a jetty seen from the air

Assemble at Cochin Airport to board the departure flight. On arrival at Port Blair Airport, the representative receives the group and escorts everyone to the hotel. After freshening up, Port Blair sightseeing begins with the Cellular Jail, followed by the Light and Sound Show at the jail, where the saga of the freedom struggle is brought alive.

Overnight in Port Blair. Meals: dinner.

Day02

An early morning cruise carries the group from Port Blair to Havelock Island, 65 kilometres by sea, past sandy beaches and lush green forest. On Havelock, the day belongs to the famous Radha Nagar Beach, counted among Asia's finest silver sand beaches and ideal for swimming, snorkelling and scuba diving. A vehicle is provided on the island for the local trips, and the evening cruise returns to Port Blair.

Overnight in Port Blair. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Day03

A tourist boat from Aberdeen Jetty opens the day at Ross Island, once the seat of the British administration in the Andamans, with the church, the cemetery, the swimming pool and the chief commissioner's residence among its ruins. The boat continues to North Bay Coral Island for a memorable look at exotic marine life, underwater corals and mangrove creeks; glass-bottom fibre boats offer a closer view of the coral colonies at your own cost, and the clear water suits swimming and scuba diving.

Overnight in Port Blair. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Day04

The day starts early, around 4 am, for the drive to Baratang Island, 110 kilometres from Port Blair. On arrival, the group proceeds to the limestone caves, and after returning from the caves, to the active mud volcano — the two sights that make this long day worth its start. Return to Port Blair by evening.

Overnight in Port Blair. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Day05

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Depending on the flight timing, visit the Anthropological Museum and the Fisheries Museum before the transfer to the airport for the return journey to Kochi.

Tour ends. Meals: breakfast, as per flight timings.
