Terms & Booking

Send your headcount and questions to info@fortunetours.com
Nathula runs only on Sikkim Tourism permits issued in limited numbers on rotation, needing the full name, address, age and gender of every traveller and a minimum 72-hour lead; it stays closed on Mondays.
The Army allows the Nathula visit between 11:00 and 12:30 only, so the day starts early from Gangtok, and delays forfeit the visit even with a permit.
Travel to Nathula runs in whichever permitted vehicle is allotted, with no choice of vehicle type.
If the Nathula permit or weather fails, the supplement refunds after the tour; if the permit is issued and the visit is skipped, no refund applies.
The tour runs on a minimum of 20 passengers, and services may adjust if numbers fall sharply.
The tour is ex-Cochin, and travellers boarding elsewhere bear the fare difference and related costs.
Flight cancellations and schedule changes sit beyond the company's control, and costs from such changes rest with the guest.
Single travellers share on a twin or triple basis, with a single supplement when no share partner is available.
Rooms are standard category on twin sharing, and the third bed is usually a rollaway mattress.
Snow point visits stay subject to weather, availability and government regulations.
Tickets and documents are collected from the Fortune office after full payment, and none are couriered.
Disputes fall under Ernakulam jurisdiction.
Booking — 50 percent of the total tour cost at the time of booking, with full payment before 15 days of the journey.
Reservations run by email, fax or phone stating the services required, and we confirm the arrangements.
Paying the first instalment accepts the booking terms for all co-travellers.
