Wonders of Europe The Alps to Paris
The Alps, the Black Forest, the Dutch tulip fields, the Grand Place and Paris. A short trip that still reaches the sights people fly to Europe for.
Emirates flights, a single Schengen visa, all meals, and a Malayalee tour manager from Trivandrum.
About This Trip

Nine days is not long for Europe, so this route skips the filler and goes straight for the landmarks. You land in Zurich, take the cable car up Titlis, stand beside the Rhine Falls, cross the Black Forest, and finish with two nights in Paris. Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and France, all on a single Schengen visa, with a Malayalee tour manager travelling with the group from Trivandrum.

Zurich and Mount Titlis, the Rhine Falls and the Black Forest, the Benz Museum, Holland and Brussels, then two nights in Paris.

The tour starts at Trivandrum International Airport. Once emigration and customs are done, you fly to Zurich with Emirates. Zurich sits on a lake with the Alps in the distance; you are taken to the hotel on arrival.
Overnight in Zurich.
Up Mount Titlis, the tallest peak in Central Switzerland, switching cable cars as green slopes give way to snow, the last leg on the Rotair, which turns as it rises — the summit at 3,020 metres, roughly 10,000 feet. After lunch, down to Lucerne: the lake, the covered Chapel Bridge with its painted panels, the old town, and the Lion Monument carved into the rock. Time for Swiss chocolate and souvenirs.
Dinner and overnight in Zurich.
Drive to Schaffhausen for the Rhine Falls, the largest waterfall in Europe — around 250 m³/s in winter, roughly 700 in summer. Cross into Germany to Titisee in the Black Forest. After lunch, the cuckoo clock village, where the clocks are still made and sold.
Dinner and overnight in Stuttgart.
Stuttgart, Germany's motor city and home of Mercedes-Benz and Porsche: the Mercedes-Benz Museum (subject to availability), designed by UN Studio outside the Daimler gate. After lunch, a Frankfurt city tour, the financial centre on the Main. Later, a photo stop at Cologne Cathedral, a World Heritage Site since 1996.
Dinner and overnight in Cologne.
Into Holland: Keukenhof in tulip season, or Madurodam (1:25 scale models in the Scheveningen district of the Hague) outside it. Then Zaanse Schans near Zaandam — a working windmill, clog-making and the Catharina Hoeve cheese farm. Later, into Amsterdam for Dam Square.
Dinner and overnight in Amsterdam.
Into Belgium for the Grand Place (the Grote Markt), ringed by Baroque guildhalls with the Flamboyant Town Hall and the King's House (Bread House), and a short walk to the Manneken Pis. Then the Atomium, built for Expo 58 — 102 metres, nine 18-metre spheres. On to Paris.
Dinner and overnight in Paris.
A city tour of Paris with a local expert. After lunch, up the Eiffel Tower to the second level; the tower rises more than 1,000 feet over the Champ de Mars, built by Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 World Expo. In the evening, a cruise on the Seine, which runs 777 kilometres through the Paris Basin.
Dinner and overnight in Paris.
After an early breakfast, check out and travel to Charles de Gaulle airport, timed to your flight, for the departure to Dubai and the connection home to Trivandrum.
You arrive at Trivandrum International Airport. The tour ends here.
