What the Five Days Cover.

You fly from Cochin to Srinagar and stay there for all four nights. Gulmarg and Pahalgam are day trips out and back, so you unpack once and leave the bags where they are. Srinagar sits in a wide valley with mountains on every side. Gulmarg is 60 kilometres away and 2,730 metres up, with the Gondola running from the meadow towards Kongdoori. Pahalgam is 96 kilometres south, reached through pine forest and saffron fields. The last full day stays in Srinagar for the Mughal gardens, Hazratbal Mosque, and an hour on Dal Lake by Shikara.

Day by Day
This is the standard five-day plan — ask us if you want it adjusted. Srinagar as the base, Gulmarg and Pahalgam as day trips, and a full city day to close.

The group assembles at Cochin airport for the departure flight. On arrival at Srinagar, you are met and transferred to the hotel. The evening is free to look around the city on your own, depending on when the flight lands.
Overnight in Srinagar. Meals: dinner.
After breakfast, a full-day trip to Gulmarg, the meadow of flowers, 2,730 metres above sea level. The 60 kilometres takes about two hours, and the stretch from Tangmarg upwards is the best part of the drive. Gulmarg has some of the finest ski slopes anywhere and the highest eighteen-hole golf course in the world, with Nanga Parbat visible if the weather allows. The Gondola cable car runs up towards Kongdoori for views across the Pir Panjal range, subject to availability, and pony rides are available for anyone who wants one.
If the Gondola is not running for the group, a visit to Doodhpathri is arranged instead. Overnight in Srinagar. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
After breakfast, a full-day trip to Pahalgam, known as the valley of shepherds and often called mini Switzerland. The 96 kilometres takes about three hours, passing saffron fields, open countryside and rice paddies, then driving through pine forest. After lunch there are bridle walks and time for photographs with the mountains behind, before the drive back in the late afternoon.
Overnight in Srinagar. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
A full day in the city. Nishat Bagh, the abode of pleasure, built in 1632 by Asif Khan, brother-in-law of Emperor Jehangir. Shalimar Bagh, the abode of love, on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan mountains behind it. Hazratbal Mosque sits opposite Nishat Bagh on the lakeshore. There is time for other gardens and viewpoints, and an hour on Dal Lake in a Shikara.
Overnight in Srinagar. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport for the return flight.
Tour ends. Meals: breakfast.
