Day by Day
Kuala Lumpur and the climb to Genting, Batu Caves and the towers, a full day in old Malacca, and Putrajaya before the flight home.

The group assembles at Cochin International Airport, meets the Fortune tour manager, and completes check-in and emigration formalities before boarding the flight to Kuala Lumpur.
Malaysia opens with the capital. The half-day guided city tour covers the Golden Triangle commercial centre, the King's Palace, the National Mosque, Lake Gardens, the National Monument, and the colonial buildings around Independence Square. After lunch, the drive runs through palm plantations and paddy fields to the hills, where the cable car glides over green slopes to the mountaintop of Genting Highlands in the Titiwangsa range, built around Resorts World Genting. Check in, take free time, and spend the evening at the Genting casino, one of the largest in Asia.
Dinner and overnight in Genting. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
Check out and come down toward Kuala Lumpur. En route stands Batu Caves, where the world's tallest Murugan statue rises 42.7 metres in gold beside the Sri Murugan Perumal Kovil at the foot of the limestone caves, unveiled at the Thaipusam festival of 2006. After lunch comes Aquaria KLCC, one of Southeast Asia's premier aquariums, home to over 5,000 creatures and a 90-metre glass tunnel where sharks, stingrays and sea turtles pass overhead. Later, the 421-metre KL Tower opens its panoramic view of the skyline, and the evening belongs to the Petronas Twin Towers, still the tallest twin towers anywhere.
Dinner and overnight in Kuala Lumpur. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
Drive to Malacca, a UNESCO World Heritage city of colonial streets, riverside charm and Peranakan culture. The day covers Dutch Square and the red Stadthuys, Jonker Street, St. Paul's Hill and St. Paul's Church, the Porta de Santiago gate at the ruins of A Famosa, and the Sam Poh Tong Temple, and closes with entry to Menara Taming Sari, the revolving observation tower with 360-degree views over the old town, the river and the coast. Return to Kuala Lumpur.
Dinner and overnight in Kuala Lumpur. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
Check out for the Putrajaya city tour, the planned city 25 kilometres south of Kuala Lumpur that became the seat of Malaysia's government in 1999. By evening, transfer to the airport for the flight home, carrying wonderful memories of the Fortune Tours Malaysia tour.
Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner on board.
