Three days in Moscow, the Sapsan north, and two days in St Petersburg with the Hermitage and Peterhof, before the train back and the flight home.

The group assembles at Cochin International Airport and meets the Fortune tour manager. After check-in, emigration and customs, the flight departs for Moscow. On arrival, the group transfers to the hotel, and the rest of the day is free after a long journey.
Overnight in Moscow. Meals: breakfast and lunch on the flight, dinner at a restaurant.
After breakfast, the Moscow city tour runs through the centre — Tverskaya Street, the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, the St Sophia embankment and the New Maiden Convent. After lunch, the group walks the Kremlin grounds, the historic fortress at the heart of the city and the seat of the Russian government, enclosed by red brick walls and towers and holding palaces and cathedrals inside, with the Tsar Bell and Tsar Cannon, Alexander Garden and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier alongside. Red Square follows, opening out beside the wall, with St Basil's Cathedral and its painted onion domes and Lenin's Mausoleum seen from outside.
Overnight in Moscow. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
After breakfast, the morning goes to the Memorial Museum of Cosmonautics, set inside the Monument to the Conquerors of Space with its towering rocket, covering the Soviet and Russian space programme — Yuri Gagarin's first human spaceflight in 1961 — with actual spacecraft, spacesuits and equipment on display. After lunch, the Moscow metro tour treats the underground as architecture, its stations carrying mosaics of the 1917 October Revolution and themes of space and Soviet achievement. The Victory Museum follows, in Victory Park on Poklonnaya Gora, with exhibitions on the Second World War. Sparrow Hills comes next, reached by cable car on the right bank of the Moscow River, for a wide view over the city. The evening is a Russian circus performance.
Overnight in Moscow. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
After breakfast, check out of the Moscow hotel and transfer to the station for the Sapsan high-speed train, which connects the two cities and runs at up to 250 kilometres an hour. On arrival in St Petersburg, the group goes to the military tank ride, riding in an actual military vehicle such as a T-34 or T-90 over rough ground or a prepared track, with a live firing session at the range alongside it.
Overnight in St Petersburg. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
After breakfast, the St Petersburg city tour covers Palace Square, St Isaac's Cathedral, the Spit of Vasilievsky Island, the statue of Peter the Great, the Church on the Spilled Blood and Nevsky Prospekt, as photo stops and outside views, and the Peter and Paul Fortress. After lunch, the group takes the hydrofoil one way down to Peterhof and spends the afternoon in Peterhof Park. The Vodka Museum closes the day, covering the origins of vodka, how it is produced and its part in Russian tradition, with a tasting available.
Overnight in St Petersburg. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
After breakfast, the morning belongs to the Hermitage Museum, one of the largest collections of art and cultural objects anywhere, founded by Catherine the Great in 1764 and open to the public since 1852 — its name from the French word for a hermit's retreat, which describes how she first used the complex. A cruise on the Neva follows, running past the embankments, the historic bridges, the Winter Palace and the Peter and Paul Fortress from the water. The group then takes the Sapsan back to Moscow and transfers to the airport for the flight home.
Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
The group arrives at Cochin.
