Itinerary

Day by Day

Bangkok to Pattaya for Coral Island, the Big Buddha and the Alcazar show, back to Bangkok for a river dinner cruise and a full day at Safari World.

Day01
Bangkok cityscape with temple rooftops and skyline

The group assembles at Cochin International Airport, meets the Fortune tour manager, and completes emigration and customs formalities before the flight departs for Bangkok.

Day02

Land at Bangkok International Airport, meet our representative, and transfer to the hotel to freshen up. After breakfast, the day opens at Nong Nooch Village in Chonburi, a vast tropical botanical garden off Sukhumvit Road that began as a family fruit plantation in the 1950s and opened to the public in 1980, now famous for its sculpted gardens and its cycad science centre. The Elephant Show rounds off the visit before the group settles into Pattaya.

Dinner and overnight in Pattaya. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Day03

A speedboat runs the group out to Coral Island (Koh Larn), a picture-postcard island about four kilometres long where the water is clear enough to see the bottom. Swim, relax on the beach, or take optional water sports — parasailing, jet ski, banana boat, sea walking and snorkelling — before returning for lunch. Later, climb Pratamnak Hill to Wat Phra Yai, where the Big Buddha of Pattaya rises around 18 metres, the biggest Buddha image in Chonburi province, reached by a long stairway flanked by two golden Naga serpents and built in 1977. The evening belongs to the Alcazar show, a stage spectacular of dazzling costumes, lights and modern stage effects.

Dinner and overnight in Pattaya. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Day04

Check out and visit the Gems Gallery, then the Four Regions Floating Market, spread over 100,000 square metres and divided into four sections selling the crafts, food and fruit of Thailand's four regions from boats and stilt shops. The coach then continues to Bangkok. In the evening comes the Chao Phraya dinner cruise, gliding past Wat Arun, the Grand Palace and the Rama VIII Bridge all lit up over the water, with a Thai buffet and live music on deck.

Overnight in Bangkok. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Day05

A full day among the animals. The safari drive moves through hundreds of animals from across the world, and Marine Park follows with its famous shows — dolphins, sea lions, the bird show and more — with lunch at the Safari World café in between.

Dinner and overnight in Bangkok. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Day06

Check out for the guided city tour of Bangkok, then transfer to the airport for the flight home, arriving at Kochi International Airport with sweet memories of the Fortune Tours Thailand tour.

Meals: breakfast, lunch, packed dinner.
