Dragons, volcanoes, ancient temples and reefs full of colour, strung along the equator. Here is the country, and the escorted way in from Kerala.

Indonesia is the largest country on earth made only of islands. More than seventeen thousand of them run along the equator, so many that the nation needs three time zones to hold them. The land never sits still. Over a hundred volcanoes rise here, rainforest older than memory shelters the orangutan, dragons walk free on the dry eastern isles, and coral gardens glow under warm seas. Stone temples from the ninth century still stand, still visited, still loved. Few countries fit this much inside one passport stamp.
Our group departure keeps to Bali, the island that carries most of Indonesia's fame, and covers it from one comfortable base. These are the four corners the tour reaches.
The whole country in four quick lines.

On the dry islands east of Bali lives the last of the great lizards. The Komodo dragon grows close to three metres long and as heavy as a grown man, and it lives wild nowhere else on the planet. The park that guards it, spread across Komodo, Rinca and a scatter of smaller isles, sits on the UNESCO World Heritage list for exactly that reason. Visitors walk the islands with park rangers, keeping a careful distance as the dragons bask in the open. The sea around the park is its own reward, with coral reefs, manta rays, and a beach tinted pink by coral sand. The group tour keeps to Bali, so if the dragons call you, tell our team and the extra leg can be drawn around your dates.

In central Java stands the largest Buddhist monument in the world. Borobudur was raised in the ninth century from blocks of volcanic stone fitted without cement, stacked into terraces that climb toward the sky. More than five hundred Buddha statues sit along its levels, and bell shaped stupas crown the top. Pilgrims walk it the old way, circling each terrace as they rise, a path built to mirror the climb toward wisdom. Come at dawn and the plain below hides under mist, with volcano peaks floating above it. In a land of seventeen thousand islands, the most famous wonder is a mountain made by hand.

The route above runs as planned, but it doesn't have to stay fixed. Add a day in Ubud, swap a hotel category, travel outside the group's dates, or drop a stop that doesn't interest you. Tell the team what the trip should look like and they'll rework the route before you book.

Yes. Indian passport holders need a visa, and on our group departure the single entry visa cost is part of the package, with our team guiding the paperwork.
No. Bali is one island and one province of Indonesia. Flights land at Denpasar, Bali's own international airport, and an Indonesia visa covers the stay.
April to October is the dry season and the easiest window. November to March stays warm but brings short daily showers, heavier on some islands than others.
Most first trips from Kerala start with Bali for its temples, beaches and easy day trips. Java suits history and volcano lovers, Sumatra suits jungle and wildlife, and the far east suits divers.
Bahasa Indonesia is the national language, though English is spoken wherever tourists go. The currency is the rupiah, and cards work in hotels and larger shops.
It can. Treat the group route as the base. Share your dates, your pace and what you want added or dropped, and our team reworks the trip with the cost of every change shown before you book.
