5 DAYS | EX KOCHI BY AIR · KOCHI - PORT BLAIR - HAVELOCK - ROSS AND NORTH BAY - BARATANG - KOCHI
EXPERIENCES:
4 Nights in One Port Blair Hotel | Meals as Listed Day by Day | Set Group Departures

Swim at Radha Nagar Beach, cross to Ross Island's British-era ruins, watch corals through clear water at North Bay, and stand inside the Cellular Jail as the Light and Sound Show brings the freedom struggle alive. Fortune's 5-day group tour runs ex Kochi with one Port Blair hotel as your base for all four nights.

Most island holidays make you live out of a bag. This one does not. The group settles into Port Blair on day one and stays put for all four nights, while the days fan out by boat: Havelock and its famous silver sand, Ross Island and the coral-rich North Bay, and the long run north to Baratang's limestone caves and active mud volcano. Evenings come back to the same bed. It is the easiest way for a Kerala family to see the Andamans, with the flights, hotel, meals, and island days arranged as one group departure, and the Cellular Jail's Light and Sound Show waiting on the very first evening.
The days as the boats take them.
Five days from a single Port Blair base, with the days fanning out by boat and two genuinely early starts. The straight facts before the sea air.

Havelock brings the postcard: the cruise from Port Blair, green forest running down to Radha Nagar Beach, counted among Asia's finest stretches of silver sand and ideal for swimming, snorkelling, and scuba. Ross Island turns the page to history, a short boat ride from Aberdeen Jetty into what was once the seat of British administration, its church, cemetery, swimming pool, and chief commissioner's residence now ruins wrapped in roots. North Bay closes the set with living colour, exotic marine life and coral colonies in clear water, with glass-bottom boats available at your own cost for a closer look. Three islands, three moods, all from one base.

Before the beaches, the tour begins with the islands' hardest and proudest story. The Cellular Jail held the freedom fighters the British wanted furthest from the mainland, and walking its corridors on your first evening sets everything else in place. Then the Light and Sound Show begins, and the saga of the freedom struggle is brought alive against the old walls. Families often name this, not the beaches, as the moment that stayed with them longest.

The Andamans are Indian soil, so this stays a domestic trip: a valid government photo ID for every traveller, including children, covers the paperwork, with no passport or visa involved for Indian citizens. Island days run on boat timings and sea conditions, and two mornings start early: the Havelock cruise leaves at first light and the Baratang day begins around 4 am, so pack for early calls. Expect jetty walks, boat decks, and beach sand rather than long treks. The glass-bottom boat at North Bay is a direct payment on the spot, not part of the tour. On the last day, the Anthropological Museum and Fisheries Museum visits depend on the return flight timing. Airline seats follow the ticket once issued, and paid seat selection, where an airline offers it, must be requested at the booking stage with charges as per the airline. Travel insurance is not part of the package and is worth arranging on your own, and travellers should be comfortably fit for boat travel.

EXPERIENCES:
4 Nights in One Port Blair Hotel | Meals as Listed Day by Day | Set Group Departures
Five days ex Kochi with four nights in Port Blair: the Cellular Jail and Light and Sound Show on arrival, a Havelock day at Radha Nagar Beach, a boat day to Ross Island and North Bay Coral Island, the Baratang day trip to the limestone caves and mud volcano, and the museum stops before the return flight. The full plan sits on the itinerary page.
By air. The group assembles at Cochin Airport, flies to Port Blair, and flies back to Kochi on the last day. Travel between the islands runs by cruise and boat, all arranged within the tour.
Just a valid government photo ID for each traveller. The islands are part of India, so Indian citizens need no passport, visa, or separate permit for this circuit.
Very manageable, but real. The Havelock crossing covers 65 kilometres by sea, the Baratang day leaves around 4 am, and every island transfer means jetties and boat decks. Families with children and older travellers do this tour routinely; the trick is early nights and light day bags.
Yes. Alongside the set departures, the desk builds this route privately, your dates, your pace, and extra island time where you want it. Ask for a private plan, and they will draw one up around your family.
The glass-bottom boat ride at North Bay is at your own cost, and any water sports you choose at the beaches are paid directly. Last-day museum entries depend on flight timing, and the desk will confirm what fits before your departure.
